Personal project
For almost five months now, I’ve been working on this next-gen beast during late nights, after putting my daughter to bed - piece by piece, bit by bit, every night. The BLACKBIRD project is my free-time, late-night fun endeavor. I approach it with a freehand spirit, unbound by the constraints of production and technology. My goal is to create something that pushes the envelope, a testament to what can be achieved when innovation and artistry come together without limitations. Every night, as I worked on BLACKBIRD, I found a sense of fulfillment and joy. It’s a journey of discovery and invention, where each new piece adds to the excitement of what this project will ultimately become. This is more than just a hobby; it’s a passion project that embodies my love for design and my desire to create something truly extraordinary.
In other words, this BLACKBIRD project is a free-thinking, punk-inspired project where anything goes!
What started as an exploration of interior design — pushing the boundaries of integrating automotive design principles into the nautical industry and incorporating automotive ergonomic standards — has evolved into something far more substantial and unexpected. Sometimes, the most exciting ideas emerge from moments of curiosity and late-night brainstorming.

The design of this boat is rooted in purism, where form follows function. An avant-garde approach has led to a single line that acts as the primary design element. This line cuts through the boat with the precision of a knife, artfully dividing it into two distinct parts: the upper section, a haven of comfort and habitability for passengers, and the lower section, a realm of pure functionality in constant communion with the water.
The project BLACKBIRD received its code name due to its distinctive dark color and sleek, arrow-like appereance. The boat’s dark anthracite finish, stealthy design and smooth, pointy nose led to the codename “BLACKBIRD”.
