FLOOR LAMP LMP 002

Role: Freetime project

Another project that is one of many where I carried an idea in my head for a few days and decided to immortalize it on paper in the form of a sketch, subsequently transfer the sketch into a 3D model. Here is the result of one day of work.

The product respects the principles of design in the 1960s, when product design was dominated by bold colour combinations of pastel shades and shapes started to be more dynamic and nuanced in terms of morphology thanks to the boom in the use of plastic.

The aim was to capture the design practices known from the 1960s, when there was a boom in the use of plastic in the design of home accessories, and transform them into an object that meets the current design language, while carrying the identity of the 60s.
The lamp was designed in such a way that the intensity of the light can be controlled with a single finger stroke.
